When the honourary Publicity Officer/Website Manager position became vacant at the western Sydney junior Aussie Rules club's 2015 Annual General Meeting in October, Good Publicity's Mike Jacobson was quick to put his hand up.

It's the latest in a number of pro bono roles that Mike has taken on over the years.

"My sons play footy with the Goannas, so I was happy to do my bit in a field that's right up my alley!" Mike said. "Community organisations often struggle to get their messages into the public arena, so I'm happy to help where I can.

"It can be in the form of advice to upgrade their websites or raise their profile in the local media, or just communicating more effectively with their members - every organisation has different needs. Obviously there's a limit to the amount of time I can devote to pro bono work, but I'm happy to consider requests on a case-by-case basis."
